The picture above shows the smaller of the two air cargo nets that comprise part of the 463L Material Handling System- the side net. Note, each 463L Pallet requires three nets- two side nets and one top net. This three-net system gives loadmasters tremendous flexibility in securing irregularly-sized loads up to 10,000 lbs and 96� high on the pallet.

Also, 463L nets are the only nets used by the United States Air Force with the 463L pallet system, and the USAF does not exchange theses cargo nets for any other types.
